Celebrating Our Veterans at Work SHRM Certification
In case you haven't heard, Supplemental Staffing is proud to let you know that earlier this year, our Operations Manager, Lisa Dison, successfully earned the Veterans at Work Certification from the SHRM Foundation!
The Society for Human Resource Management, or SHRM, established a nonprofit foundation to offer resources and training to HR professionals to help them foster talent, give that talent the opportunities it needs to thrive, and create healthy and welcoming workplaces. One of those resources that the SHRM Foundation offers is the Veterans at Work Certification Program, which is designed to equip HR with the knowledge needed to attract, hire, and support veterans and other members of the military community.
Commitment to Positive Change at Supplemental Staffing
We have Lisa to thank for completing the program and obtaining her Veterans at Work Certification. With the knowledge gained earning this certification, both she and Supplemental Staffing are all the more prepared to recruit and assist veterans, whether they are looking to reenter the civilian workforce, are joining it for the first time, or just need a little extra help applying for their next job. Supplemental Staffing is happy to support those who have dedicated their time in service to our country.
